Groebner Bases in Symbolic Analysis Special Semester on Groebner Bases and Related Methods Hagenberg-Linz, Austria, May 8 - 17, 2006 The proceedings will be published by de Gruyter in the RICAM book series (with Prof. Heinz W. Engl being the series editor). Its working title is "Groebner Bases in Symbolic Analysis: Symbolic Methods for Differential Equations". It should mainly contain survey articles, possibly enriched by a few original publications that have a natural place in it. You are now invited to propose two or three topics of your choice for publication in the proceedings. The topics should be related but need not coincide with your presentation at the workshop; you may want to lay out your article a bit more broadly - as befits the survey character of the oeuvre. You may also suggest one or two other potential authors (perhaps along with topics) if you have a strong trust in their compotence as survey authors. Of course, you may also suggest a coauthor for your own article. Articles will be reviewed on a peer basis. This means every one of you will be asked to referee one other paper submitted to this volume, of course on an anonymous basis. Since it is important to get started as soon as possbible, we would encourage you kindly to send us a notification of interest / disinterest and (in the first case) your choice of topics at your earliest convenience. Looking forward to an interesting and successful proceedings volume. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Markus Rosenkranz, Dongming Wang Editors
